On Saturday October 21st, volunteers from McKernan Baptist Church are offering to rake leaves, bag them (bags provided), and place them at your curb or alley for pickup. The city will collect them on their waste collection day: Monday October 23rd (note there is also one more collection day on Monday November 20th). The volunteers can also simply rake the leaves and leave them in piles for you to use in your compost. This offer is open to all McKernan residents.
